I was stoked when I got to buy a ’68 Camaro that had been in my neighborhood since 1990! It has been a good driver, though it was pretty gross when I got it. I made it much cooler with a budget makeover in my own driveway. See it all in an episode on The David Freiburger Channel of YouTube where you’ll also learn details about the condition of the car.

There’s nothing perfect about this Camaro, which makes it perfect! You can drive it anywhere without worrying. You could leave it bone stock and use it as-is, or it’s perfect for an engine swap. A big-block would look good in it.

The car has a 250ci inline six (numbers matching!) and the trans has been swapped to a TH350 (it’s a factory Powerglide car). The paint was factory British Green, but it’s been repainted maybe two and a half times. The interior is factory gold with some redos; it’s just trashed enough to be comfy.
