I didn’t even have my driver’s license when I bought my ‘70 Dodge Super Bee for $1,800 back in 1983 as my very first car, and it’s hard to believe I’ve now had it for 40 years. Daily driving, burnouts, Hot Rod Magazine project stories, three different engines, two Hemi combos, and lots of drag racing. These days it runs 10.40s with a streetable combo that includes a 489ci Hemi, a Gearstar 727, a Gear Vendors overdrive, and a Dana 60 with 3.73s.
My latest shirt is an image taken from the most popular photo of the car during a road trip years ago. It has that stance, those meats, the Go Mango, and the signature Hemi hood scoop!
Nab your shirts today and help me celebrate a huge milestone.
