Hemi Gremmie T-Shirts Are Here!

Finally! After hinting at this build for years, I’m ready to start wrenching on the Hemi Gremmie! Yup, I’m installing a 426 Hemi in a ’74 AMC Gremlin and setting it up like a late-‘70s street freak, tall stance and all. The first step in the project was to get some inspiration from a retro cartoon by Kreative Oddities, and I figured there was no better way to stay hooked on the idea than by commemorating it forever on a t-shirt! The ’toon is featured large on the back of the shirt, and there’s a Hemi Gremmie logo on the front breast. All D/F shirts are 100% soft cotton and made in the USA.

The Gremlin will use a Ford Model A chassis with ladder bars, a front transverse-spring setup, and a Ford 9-inch rear on coilovers. The engine will sit high and mighty in the chassis to show off those Hemi valve covers and of course the tunnel ram. The 550hp engine will be backed by a GM 4L80 overdrive automatic transmission from Gearstar. Naturally, there will be Cragar S/S wheels all around, and in street freak style, it’ll have fatties up front rather than drag-type skinnies. The Hemi Gremmie is being built to drive!
