Some of the coolest T-shirt art I’ve had yet!

My ’73 Chevy K5 Blazer - known as the DK5 (“decay”5) - jumps off of this black, 100% cotton, made-in-USA t-shirt. This Blazer has hardly been seen in my videos, but has been a big hit on social media. It came from Andy Maass’s yard in Colorado, and he bought it from the original, 80-plus-year-old owner about a decade ago.

The K5 is unusually rusty, but has only about 80,000 original miles. It has a 350 V8, SM465 four-speed manual trans, and the good NP205 transfer case. There are factory 3.73 gears in the Dana 44 and 12-bolt axles. The suspension is totally stock, and I’m running 32x11.50-15 Dick Cepek Fun Country II tires on factory 15x8 rallye wheels.

Of course, the ’73 model is the first squarebody Blazer and one of only three model years where the whole top is removable. I made the air conditioning functional and have been loving driving this beater Blazer all over the place. It’s surprisingly capable off-road.
